Contact Form 7 is probably one of the most popular contact form plugins for WordPress, and for good reason. It’s easy to install, easy to customize, and comes with support that is second-to-none in terms of quality. While it may be missing some of the more advanced features found in other solutions out there, its ease of use makes up for what it lacks in-depth. 2) MyForm.ie
MyForm.ie, a free plugin from WPExplorer, has been around for quite some time and is still going strong. It gives you a handful of ways to build your contact form and integrate it with third-party services like Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, and Aweber. You can even use Google Maps to add a location field to your form! If you’re looking for a simple, easy way to add an email signup form onto your site then MyForm.ie is an excellent choice that should meet most needs.
3) Gravity Forms
Gravity Forms is one of my favorite contact form plugins for many reasons. I use it on all my WordPress websites and have done so for years. Firstly, it integrates seamlessly with a ton of 3rd party apps and services – from Google Docs to Salesforce, MailChimp, Slack, Zapier, and more. Secondly, it has some really slick features like conditional logic that allows you to tailor what happens when someone fills out your form based on any number of conditions (for example: send an email X minutes after someone fills out your form). Thirdly and perhaps most importantly: Gravity Forms makes collecting leads dead simple. It allows you to insert lead capture fields (like name or email) into your forms using simple Shortcodes which makes collecting data a cinch.
4) Ninja Forms
The best-known contact form plugin for WordPress is undoubtedly Ninja Forms. There are a lot of reasons why it’s popular, but one of its biggest selling points is that it was built for speed and extensibility. You can quickly generate forms with just a few mouse clicks, and then you can take advantage of a slew of options to personalize your form’s appearance and behavior. It also includes features like front-end form validation, spam protection, server-side processing (making your forms load faster), multiple submission types, user tracking, and more.
5) SumoMe – Free WP Plugin
SumoMe is a great way to get your visitors to subscribe. The plugin adds an overlay box to each of your posts that make it easy for your readers to subscribe using either their email or social media accounts. Just make sure you provide an excellent user experience and you’ll be able to grow your newsletter like wildfire. If you’re looking for a simple and straightforward way to collect contact information from website visitors, WpForms may be your best bet. This popular plugin provides a custom form that displays an email field with each submission—no configuration required. You can also embed multiple forms on any page or post, integrate WpForms with Aweber and MailChimp, include CAPTCHA to prevent spam submissions, assign subscribers to membership levels (e.g., opt-in subscribers can download free ebooks), and more. More than 200 developers have contributed code over 400 times to help expand its capabilities even further. You can try it out for free or pay $19 per year for premium features.
7) Gravity Forms Expansion Pack – Add-On
MailChimp – If you’re using Gravity Forms to collect leads and ultimately manage your email marketing efforts, then you’ll definitely want to download Gravity Forms MailChimp. This add-on provides direct integration between your site and MailChimp so that you can stay organized and never miss an email. There are also advanced features included, like built-in opt-in forms with signup checkboxes or radio buttons. You’ll even get fully responsive templates for full-width modals (with customizable social icons) on mobile devices!
8) Jetpack Submissions Addon
The Jetpack plugin itself includes a contact form feature, but for $10 per month, you can use its Submissions Addon to send all your messages through their system. That way, you don’t have to worry about maintaining your own contact form. It also integrates with other Jetpack features like social media buttons and link shorteners. The contact form is simple and intuitive, but it offers a few customization options like color schemes and newsletter signup options. There’s no limit on submissions (although you will receive notifications whenever anyone uses it), and users can submit either via email or an anonymous entry box.
9) Submit To Google Maps (MapsWP Addon)
If you plan on adding a Google Maps field to your contact form, it’s easiest to do it through a plugin. There are actually two available for free from Automattic (the company behind WordPress): MapsPress and Maps Addon. The former is far more popular, with more than 100,000 active installs currently—but it also has been abandoned by its creator. If you use Google APIs in other parts of your site, using Maps Press could make sense; otherwise, stick with Maps Addon which is still under active development.
