The next day we can head over to Chandratal. You can enjoy Chandratal trek which will be a mesmerizing experience for all the lovely travelers because coming all the way to Spiti and visiting Chandratal is a major miss of something really exciting.
Chandratal lake is a place which is a must to visit. It literally means ‘lake of moon’. The magical view at night with the moon and the lake is stunning. The chilled temperature along with the bonfire nights makes it a perfect environment for jamming.
Camps are nearest around 2.5 KMs from the lake, you have to stay there or get back to Battal where there is a PWD rest house now, however without power. However, no point returning an excruciating ride to Losar over Kunzum Pass except if you need to remain in the visitor house with power.
