Microsoft announced that SharePoint site scripts and site designs have been released to all Office 365 customers. You can now easily customize your SharePoint according to the desired look and feel of your organization.

With the new website scripts and website designs, Microsoft provides a new extension for SharePoint Online, with which customized templates. New SharePoint pages can be created in the shortest possible time and with little effort. This allows frequently used pages to be duplicated.

For example, if a company’s marketing department opens a new location. And the same SharePoint site can be created again.

The templates are described using simple configuration files that list actions to be taken after the actual web page is created.

Now simply assign the designs to those groups that should also use them and thus ensure clearer user guidance when creating a new SharePoint page.

Microsoft has announced that it will expand the list of possible actions in the future.

Microsoft Ending Support for SharePoint 2013 in April

If your SharePoint farm is still running on the 2013 version. You should now react quickly and migrate to SharePoint 2016 or SharePoint Online. 

You should also update your SharePoint Server to the cumulative update to continue receiving support from Microsoft. 

Normal Microsoft mainstream support for SharePoint 2013 will end on April 10, 2018. 

But don’t panic! Your SharePoint farm will continue to function. She will continue to receive security updates.  

However, Microsoft no longer distributes non-security updates or accepts requests for new features. 

All knowledge base articles and product-specific resources will continue to be accessible online.
